La Vista Caravans builds at its factory in Thornycroft Street, Campbellfield, in Melbourne's north, and describes itself as "Proudly Australian Made and Owned since 2007", with CNC machining and aluminium frame fabrication done in-house. The business has changed hands: Caravan World reported in April 2025 that it had new owners, would be known as La Vista Caravans Australia and would continue most of the range.
Since 2025 La Vista has moved to aluminium framing, a one-piece honeycomb-core floor and a timber-free body. Its vans come in couples and family layouts, mostly aimed at off-road and off-grid travel. The Quokka is its compact single-axle off-road van. Caravan World's April 2025 review of an earlier, semi-off-road version of the Quokka RD18.6 (fibreglass-composite frame, torsion suspension) found it a good setup for a travelling couple.
La Vista lists a one-year general warranty and a five-year structural warranty and sells through dealers.
