   Keep rolling until only the van's wheels are on the deck. The load the van's axles carry.

4. ④ Van alone on its jockey wheel (kg)

   Unhitch clear of the queue with the van fully on the deck, jockey wheel included. Your van's total weight.

5. ⑤ Vehicle alone, unhitched (kg)

   Weigh the vehicle on its own. Against pass ② this reveals your true towball weight.

What your tickets say

Weighbridge readings beat any estimate — but a ticket reflects how the rig was loaded on the day, and public bridges typically read to the nearest 10–20 kg. Re-weigh after any big change in load, and always stay under the limits on your compliance plates.
